Who we are

A foundation built on the meaning of strength

IKEMBA — a name rooted in the Igbo tradition meaning "strength of the people" — reflects the core belief that lasting change comes from within communities, not from outside them. The IKEMBA Foundation was established to create a unified home for programs that serve the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

As the parent organization of Expectant Strength Collective, IKEMBA provides the structural foundation, strategic direction, and community partnerships that allow ESC and its sister programs to thrive and grow.

Investing in the next generation through transitional skills, independent living support, and mentorship that bridges the gap to adulthood.

Strategic Partnerships

Forging alliances with organizations, institutions, and leaders who share our commitment to equity, dignity, and community-centered care.
